Local Authority Network Meeting 'Alternative Vision for the Asylum System: Resettlement, Dispersal and Welcome'

The City of Sanctuary Local Authority Network invites you to its second Thematic Network Meeting to discuss an Alternative Vision for the Asylum System: Resettlement, Dispersal and Welcome. 

The interactive meeting will feature representatives from key stakeholders. Discussion will centre around  resettlement, dispersal, community sponsorship and welcome. We will also be introducing the  #TogetherwithRefugees campaign and the Network’s response to the ‘New Plans for Immigration’

The breakout rooms will be facilitated by Local Authority representatives and partners experienced in Resettlement, Dispersal, Community Sponsorship and ‘Welcome’ more generally. It will be an opportunity to share good practice and discuss how we can collectively mobilise behind an alternative vision for asylum which is kinder and fairer.
